Cornelius Beer & Wine

We are a small, independent beer & wine specialist, in the heart of Edinburgh’s East End. We have one of the widest selections of beer in the U.K. and our wine list is similarly diverse. Guided purely by our palate, we have tried to avoid the familiar and instead choose a shopfull of drink that we can get excited about. You may not recognise many of the names, but we can guarantee we will find you some new favorites, at suprisingly competitive prices. We also stock an impressive selection of malt whisky, spirits and liqueurs, which we’ll be happy to run through with you if you give us a call. Hello. I'm James,

I've been running the shop since the end of 2004. In that time we have seen two wars, three prime ministersand two first ministers; we have also witnessed the biggest economic balls up in living memory.

Through all of this we have survived and thrived, which suggests that the public appetite for good quality booze remains undimmed. Fingers crossed we'll still be here when the wee man in the picture ( the name's Alasdair ) can take the reins. Until then I'm more than happy filling the shelves with goodies for your delectation.
