Loads of lovely New Year Bin-Ends!

Les Trouveres White-affordable crowd pleasing white from the south of France,
it has a subtle delicate aroma with a nose of citrus and a touch of grapefruit. On it’s palate it has a good balance of up front peachy fruit with a zingy citrussy finish. £4.80

Les Trouveres Rose-what a beautifully delicate nose of raspberries and hints of cherry tobacco. The palates elegance and class is obvious right from the first sip, this wine is perfect for a light seafood starter, personally I think you couldn’t go wrong with a prawn cocktail to accompany this summers afternoon pink. £4.80

Luna Blanco Verdejo-I love the nose on this wine, it has aromas of fresh green apple and grass. This wine has a fresh crisp palate with a touch of minerality and a fruity and almost mild grapefruit dry finish, One of my favourites. £6 or 2 for a tenner

Lalla Gully Riesling - this is a rather powerful riesling from tasmania with a nose that makes you feel like your walking through a botanical garden. It is rich  and packed with  interesting aromas. The palate on this wine is just as big as the nose with a medium weight crisp, refreshing zing to its pear drop like hints, and pot-pourri complexity. This wine is a star, a definite must try. £7

Tutiac-Cotes de Blaye
A bit of a gem from Bordeaux, with an excellent balance of fruit and floral aromas.
The classic Cotes de Blaye blend of Semillon and Sauvignon can sometimes lack elegance, but this has structure, balance and a huge whack of acidity
I even detected a hints of minerallity and earthy tones on the nose. £7

A strong (7.7%a.b.v.) bock, with a pale creamy gold colour and a drier edge than most strong wheat beers. Well worth a shot if you are a fan of the house style, but crave something with a bit of bite.

Cracking, South African blend of Cabernet Sauvignon & Pinotage that is very Bordeaux-like in it's structure. With a fine balance of tight, currant fruit and grainy tannin. Older vintages now available and are tasting mighty fine. 1998, '99, '03, '05 in limited quantities

New Top End Rioja

Marques De Riscal 150th Anniversary Gran Reserva '01 £37

A beautiful dark ruby-garnet color. Produced from selected grapes of a top vintage. Complex aromas of sour cherry, blackberry, and leather. Although aged for 32 months in barrels and 48 months in the bottle, it exhibits remarkable freshness with a soft fruit rich attack, round tannins excellent balance and a firm finish.

Marques De Riscal Limousin Verdejo '07 £11

The wine has straw-yellow colouration with golden hues. It has a complex nose with hints of vanilla and wild mountain herbs. On the palate it is dense with underlying fine lees, dried fruits and the typical toasted nuances from the cask ageing process
